When an aspiring novelist visits his uncle's summer house in search of inspiration for his next book, he soon discovers that the small town is being terrorized by mysterious humanoid creatures with a penchant for emerging from human flesh after being bitten by infected mosquitoes and finds himself face-to-face with something far beyond what anyone could have ever imagined.
