RUTH BENFIELD is a highly accomplished and versatile figure in the entertainment industry, with a career spanning over 25 years as a composer, producer, and singer-songwriter. 
Originally from New Zealand and now based in Los Angeles, she has established herself as a key creative force through her work in both music and film.
Benfield's multifaceted career showcases her diverse talents. She is the co-founder of production companies, LAMA Entertainment and Bridge and Acorn Entertainment, where she plays a pivotal role in bringing a variety of projects to fruition, as well as founder of her own production company, Glass of Milk Pictures. In addition to her production work, she is the founder of the record label Glass of Milk Records.
Her contributions to the film industry are extensive and varied. Benfield has served as a composer, music supervisor and producer among other roles on numerous projects. Her recent work includes the film The Keeper, for which she co-wrote the award-winning original song "Keep On."
